FAQs: How long should you stage your property for?

The Standard Duration
You should need your home staging rental for approximately 3 months. This period is carefully chosen to align with the average time it takes to secure a sale in today's market. However, we know that every property is unique, which is why we offer flexible month-to-month extensions, and we do advise that our stunning furniture and décor should remain in place until you exchange contracts, ensuring your property looks its best throughout the entire selling process.
The Staging Process: A Breakdown
1. Quotation:
We can produce an accurate quotation from a floor plan, if this is not available, we can discuss approximate room sizes over the phone. Our aim is to produce a quote within one working day of receiving an enquiry, but usually this is done on the day that a potential client contacts us.
2. Initial Site Visit:
Once the quote has been approved it is essential we carry out a site visit this will enable us to confirm room sizes to ensure that all furniture allocated for your project is correctly sized for each room. We also assess your internal finishes - kitchens and bathrooms, walls, floors and doors - to allow us to select furniture and accessories which complement the existing fabric of the property.
3. Design and Décor Selection:
Our expert team design every detail of the staging down to the last accessory needed, it’s at this point the inventory is allocated within our system to ensure it is reserved for your project.
4. Furniture and Inventory Picked and Packed:
Our warehouse team carefully curates and pack every item ready for our removals team to collect on the morning of your installation.
5. The Big Day - Staging:
This is where the transformation happens! All the items are delivered, unpacked, installed & dressed by our amazing team. For most homes, we can work our magic in just one day. Larger or more complex properties might take up to 2 days.
6. De-staging
When your property has sold, we come back and take everything out ready for the new owners to move in. It really is that simple!
