Modern London Apartment
Our show home within a development named by The Sunday Times as ‘one of London’s best new developments’
Show apartment in a new residential block, described by The Sunday Times as ‘one of London’s best new developments’ in Cricklewood, North London
Set within the Brent Cross Cricklewood regeneration area, this development consisted of 54 apartments, duplexes and town houses aimed at the young professional and overseas investor markets.
The client asked for a ‘quiet luxury’ feel focusing on sophisticated, high-quality furnishings and balanced, intentional design. We were also asked to incorporate an area dedicated to wellbeing, which we created in one of the three bedrooms.
The aim of the show home was to generate early interest in these new homes in the vibrant and, often described as ‘hidden gem’ of Cricklewood..
Our approach to designing this show home
We chose a warm neutral palette with accents of black in this apartment, to complement the internal finishes installed by the developer. The furniture included a mix of warm, deep woods, plush textiles and natural elements such as marble, brass and rattan to create textural interest and the desired feel of understated luxury.
Lightweight voile curtains were installed which maximised the natural light, created privacy and filtered the view of the external environment (a very busy London A road!)
The show apartment was installed within a still active building site with no working lifts, so the install itself was challenge for our logistics team who had to navigate a fire escape staircase carrying some rather large items of furniture.
The result: development fully sold
A large percentage of the development was ultimately sold to overseas investors.
